For Student ID Number Passwords
Note: eStudent has its own Password for access using the Student ID Number , the following does not apply to eStudent.
Systems that use Student ID Number as the Username will lock out your access for a period of time after 5 unsuccessful log in attempts
Secret Question and Answer
You can set up you own secret questions and answers. This is in case you forget your password and wish to request a temporary password via the password self service facility. Instructions about the password self service are available .
If you are unable to successfully reset your password via the self service facility, you can contact Student IT Help for assistance
Password Help contains guidelines to help you create a more secure password.
There is a progressive adoption of Student ID Number as the access to systems, replacing the use of MQID and providing consistent sign on.
A key benefit from this will be the synchronisation of the password for all these systems.
